Produced in winter 2022 at Shanley Pavilion, Sunrise Coven followed a former nurse in a small town who lost her license after stealing and selling opioids and getting addicted in the process. During her recovery, she finds purpose in smuggling cheaper versions of the town’s prescription medicines from Mexico and selling them at cost, using a local coven as a front. In the process, she finds herself reluctantly taking solace in the coven’s healing practices.
